Art Gallery Hotel illustrations
Set of 5 large-scale illustrations (200 x 280cm) for Art Gallery Hotel in Baku.
My illustrations are inspired by work of famous Azerbaijani artist Togrul Narimanbekov (1930-2013).
His paintings are full of colours and energy and I tried to capture it in my illustrations. I was charmed by Narimanbekov’s
portraits which present people with tense, mesmerising gaze yet full of tenderness. Horses, flowers, fruits and stars
are the motifs often used by Narimanbekov and that’s why I also wanted to included them in my works.
My illustrations will be a part of the interior design of Art Gallery Hotel in Baku.
