TONKA WILL DO IT TOMORROW

Tonka is a playful first-grader with a habit of putting things off for tomorrow – homework, walking the dog, having breakfast or putting
her toys away. And tomorrow, she’ll put it off for the next day. Gramps jokes with Tonka, explaining that she’s suffering from Tomorrowings, a condition similar to smallpox, only affecting children who put things off for tomorrow. At first, Tonka can’t see any Tomorrowings on her body, but following her grandparents’ story, eventually, she sees them. The Tomorrowings are strange creatures stuck to Tonka,
who can’t move until she solves all of her postponed obligations. With her grandparents’ help, Tonka deals with her chores one by one,
and as she does this, the Tomorrowings leave her.
